How to import data from LastPass?

Application compatibility#

The LastPass application allows data to be exported. Brennus OTP supports the import of data from LastPass.

How to do it#

Step 1: Export data from LastPass#

First, go to the ⚙️ menu (top left) and select Account Transfer:

Once in the new menu, select Export accounts to a file, then Download JSON file:

Step 2: Import the data into Brennus OTP#

To import your data, simply go to the application settings, select the Import a backup menu, and choose Lastpass from the list of supported applications:

You must then select the file you created earlier:

(Optional) Step 3: Rename the new vault#

During import, Brennus OTP will automatically create one (or more) vaults for the import you just performed. Each new vault will be prefixed with the name of the import application and the current timestamp.

We recommend that you change the name of this/these vault(s).

To do this, you must select this/these new vault(s) and use the Modify action:
